You will find our services to be outstanding in comparison to many parts of the country, while still enjoying one of the lowest tax rates in the nation. We are excited about the opportunities that we can provide to potential businesses, which include an industrial park with vacant land available. The Industrial Park is located just off County Road 519 and Planter Road. Two vacant 1.5 acre lots are available. If you need more property Gogebic County Forestry owns an entire section of property which may be available for additional purchase or lease. The property is served by well and septic with a creek nearby for high volume water users. Internet, natural gas, high capacity electrical service, and access by an all season road make this a very attractive place to locate your business.

Currently there are two businesses occupying the park, a global mold maker, Extreme Tool and Engineering, and a metal recycling business and a log yard, Western U.P. Recycling and Verso Paper. Both businesses have been expanding their businesses and hiring new workers. Their links are listed below.
